ABU DHABI: Dr. Sultan bin Ahmed Al Jaber, Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology and Managing Director and Group CEO of the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC), today received the United States Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm at ADNOC’s headquarters to discuss opportunities to strengthen strategic energy relations between the two countries, particularly through the US-UAE Partnership for Accelerating Clean Energy (PACE).

During the meeting, Dr. Al Jaber reaffirmed the strong, close and longstanding economic, energy and trade relationship between the UAE and the US.

Dr. Al Jaber and Secretary Granholm discussed the transformative potential of artificial intelligence (AI) as well as the need for greater collaboration to ensure a secure, reliable, and responsible supply of energy.

Secretary Granholm toured ADNOC’s Panorama Digital Command Centre and heard how the company has integrated AI from the control room to the boardroom, to make smarter decisions to enhance safety, drive down emissions and
generate greater value.
