FIRST BATCH OF SAUDI RELIEF AID FOR THOSE AFFECTED BY FLOODS IN SUDAN TO ARRIVE THURS
KHARTOUM, Sudan - Saudi Ambassador to Sudan, Faisal bin Hamid Mualla, said that the first batch of relief aid to be brought, in line with the instructions of the Saudi's ruler King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, to help those affected by the floods and rains in Sudan, will arrive in Khartoum Thursday.
Ambassador Mualla, in a speech he delivered during the ceremony, which was organised by the Sudanese government, on the occasion of the opening of a Saudi health centre, in the suburb of Al-Baraka, in a Southern district of the Sudanese capital Khartoum, said the aid comes in continuation of the humanitarian role, played by the Saudi government and people, towards those affected and afflicted around the globe.
He commended the level of medical services provided by the centre, which was designed to world-class standards, and targeted areas of dense population, in need of medical services.
