Portsudan: Vice-President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC), Malik Aggar, declared that “We will not allow new colonialism and Sudan will remain for the Sudanese without exclusion or marginalization.” This statement was made during the concluding session of the National Forces Coordination Committee held on Monday in Portsudan, the capital of the Red Sea State.
According to Sudan News Agency, Aggar expressed concerns that the transitional period was manipulated under the guise of the December Revolution’s slogan for personal ambitions and foreign interests. He alleged that political parties played a significant role in inciting the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia to plunge the country into conflict. In his address, Aggar emphasized the importance of adopting a scientific and structured approach to establish a stable Sudanese state, addressing issues of structural imbalance, and creating a constitution that adequately deals with citizenship, wealth, and power distribution.
Aggar urged the Nati
onal Forces Coordination to combat internal disputes with a united vision, highlighting the severe challenges facing Sudan. He warned that overcoming these challenges would be impossible if differing factions continue to reject collaboration.
In a supportive note, the Wali (governor) of the Red Sea State, Lt. Gen. Mustafa Mohamed Nour, commended the National Forces Coordination’s efforts in backing the armed forces and unifying national efforts. He reaffirmed his commitment to aiding the coordination in steering the country towards stability and safety.
