Portsudan: Vice President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC), Commander Malik Aggar, held a meeting in his office in Portsudan with the Secretary-General of the Norwegian Refugee Council, Mr. John Egeland, on Monday. The discussions centered on the humanitarian situation in Sudan and strategies for delivering aid to those in need.
According to Sudan News Agency, TSC Vice President Aggar emphasized Sudan’s dedication to facilitating the delivery of humanitarian assistance and supporting the operations of relief organizations. He highlighted issues in Darfur, such as the lack of coordination with official entities. The Secretary-General pledged to improve cooperation and coordination to enhance aid delivery.
