Khartoum: President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC) and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, General Abdel-Fattah al-Burhan, held a meeting with a delegation from the Ansar al-Sunna al-Muhammadiya group in Sudan, led by Sheikh Dr. Abdul-Karim Mohamed Abdul-Karim.

According to Sudan News Agency, Sheikh Mohamed Al-Amin Ismail, the Deputy General Head of the Ansar Al-Sunna Al-Muhammadiya group, stated that the meeting addressed the current situation in Sudan and the endeavors to establish security and peace. The discussions highlighted the Battle of Dignity and Pride aimed at defeating the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia, described as a rebel terrorist group.

Sheikh Al-Amin emphasized the unwavering support of the Ansar Al-Sunna Al-Muhammadiya group for Sudan’s national issues, unity, and stability. He noted that the unity, pride, and dignity of Sudan are under threat and stressed the need for all Sudanese people to come together to navigate this crisis. He expressed hope for achieving peac
