Khartoum: President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC) and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, General Abdel-Fattah Al-Burhan, has sent a congratulatory message to President Vladimir Putin of the Russian Federation. This message was conveyed on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the victory in World War II.

According to Sudan News Agency, in his message, General Al-Burhan extended his heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to President Putin. He expressed hopes for the Russian President’s good health and happiness, and for the continued progress, prosperity, and advancement of the Russian people under Putin’s leadership.

The TSC President also highlighted the strong bilateral relations between Sudan and Russia. He affirmed his commitment to further developing and strengthening these relations, emphasizing the importance of continued cooperation between the two nations to address current challenges and threats.
