Khartoum: President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC), Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, General Abdel-Fattah Al-Burhan, held a meeting with the Wali (governor) of the White Nile State, Maj. Gen. (Rtd) Gamar El-Din Mohamed Fadl Al-Mawla. The discussions revolved around the state’s security, service provisions, and humanitarian conditions, along with strategies to maintain security and stability and ensure the delivery of essential services to the populace.
According to Sudan News Agency, Maj. Gen. Gamar El-Din, in a press statement, mentioned that the TSC President instructed the state government to bolster security, provide necessary services, and assist in humanitarian and health initiatives. The meeting also explored methods to guarantee the success of the agricultural season, focusing on achieving food security and fostering development, as well as reinforcing the health and humanitarian sectors.
He further conveyed that the TSC President underscored the significance of concentrating on development projects within the state and meeting the fundamental needs of its citizens. The Wali highlighted the TSC President’s support for advancing the health sector, delivering medical services, and localizing treatment in the state.
Additionally, he acknowledged the TSC President’s contribution of medical equipment to the state, which includes ambulances, MRI machines, CT scans, and a cardiac catheterization device. He affirmed that this support is expected to positively influence the health and medical conditions in the region.
