Khartoum: President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC), Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces (SAF), General Abdel-Fattah Al-Burhan, held a meeting with Minister of Culture and Information, Khalid Ali Al-Eiaser, on Monday. The discussion focused on key patriotic issues and the challenges facing media in the forthcoming period.
According to Sudan News Agency, Minister Al-Eiaser, in a press statement, highlighted that the TSC President expressed his appreciation for the media’s significant efforts and its commendable stance against aggressive media campaigns targeting the nation. The President provided directives to bolster patriotic issues in the next phase.
Al-Eiaser emphasized his commitment to supporting the achievements in media, reforming the media and cultural sectors, and collaborating with media professionals to mitigate war impacts and foster national unity. He outlined plans for a new media initiative focusing on patriotic interests, counteracting war effects, combating hate speech, and
rallying national support around the military institution.
The Minister commended the army, joint forces, and mobilized personnel for their dedication to preserving Sudan’s unity, safety, and stability, and defending national dignity.
