Darfur: President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC), Abdel-Fattah Al-Burhan, addressed the E-Learning Conference in the Darfur Region, underscoring the importance of education and national sovereignty.
According to Sudan News Agency, Al-Burhan voiced strong support for e-learning, highlighting the role of the Ministries of Higher Education and Communications, along with UNICEF, in promoting educational initiatives. He noted the significant impact of conflict, stating that over 10 million children have been deprived of education due to ongoing war. Al-Burhan emphasized the state’s responsibility to ensure education for all and expressed commitment to advancing e-learning across Sudan.
In his speech, Al-Burhan praised the armed forces and associated security personnel for their continued efforts to protect the nation. He conveyed a firm stance against external interference, insisting that the Sudanese people will not accept foreign-imposed solutions or leadership. He criticized the involvement of
international bodies like the African Union and the United Nations, asserting that governance should be determined by those actively supporting and defending the country.
Al-Burhan also addressed the internal conflict, rejecting any possibility of reinstating former leaders and condemning external attempts to influence Sudan’s political landscape. He reiterated the goal of forming a unified, professional national army, free from political affiliations and committed solely to the defense of Sudan.
In closing, Al-Burhan acknowledged international allies who have supported Sudan’s sovereignty and expressed gratitude to nations abstaining from conferences perceived as undermining the Sudanese people’s struggle. He assured the populace that efforts to resolve the rebellion are progressing towards a decisive conclusion.
