Khartoum: President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC), Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, General Abdel-Fattah Al-Burhan, was briefed on the overall security, service, health, and development situation in White Nile State and the efforts made to provide necessary services to the citizens.
According to Sudan News Agency, this update took place during a meeting with the Wali (governor) of White Nile State, Omar Al-Khalifa Abdullah. The governor provided a comprehensive briefing to the TSC President on the security situation following the liberation of the Jebel Moya area. This liberation has contributed to the flow of goods to citizens, a decrease in their prices, and their distribution to the states of Kordofan, Darfur, and Al-Gezira.
The Wali of White Nile State also mentioned that the meeting addressed the agricultural season, highlighting the efforts made to ensure its success and the preparations for the winter season. Additionally, the meeting discussed the state government’s actions to
shelter displaced individuals and refugees from South Sudan. The TSC President pledged to provide the necessary support to aid these efforts.
