Riyadh: President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC), Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces (SAF), General Abdel-Fattah Al-Burhan, arrived in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) on Monday. He is leading the Sudanese delegation participating in the extraordinary Arab and Islamic summit hosted in Riyadh, with participation from various leaders and heads of state from Arab and Islamic countries.

According to Sudan News Agency, TSC President was received at King Khalid International Airport by His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Governor of Riyadh Zone, His Highness Prince Faisal bin Abdulaziz bin Ayyaf, Secretary of the Zone, and members of the Sudanese diplomatic mission to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The summit is set to address the repercussions of the ongoing Israeli aggression on the Palestinian territories and Lebanon, as well as the effects of current developments in the region.
