Portsudan: President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC), General Abdel-Fattah Al-Burhan, returned home on Tuesday after participating in the World Urban Forum in the Egyptian capital, Cairo. TSC President was received at Portsudan International Airport by Acting Minister of Cabinet Affairs and Prime Minister Osman Hussein, TSC Secretary-General Lt. Gen. Mohamed Al-Gali Ali Yousuf, Wali (governor) of the Red Sea State, and the Ambassador of the Republic of Egypt to Sudan Hani Salah-Eddin Mustafa.
According to Sudan News Agency, during the forum, TSC President engaged in bilateral talks with Egyptian President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi, focusing on the relations between the two nations. Additionally, President Al-Burhan addressed the opening session of the forum, marking his active involvement in discussions.
His Excellency was accompanied on his visit to Egypt by the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Hussein Al-Amin Al-Fadil, and the Director of the General Intelligence Serv
ice, General Ahmed Ibrahim Mufaddal. The visit highlighted the ongoing cooperation and dialogue between Sudan and Egypt.
