Khartoum: Member of the Transitional Sovereign Council (TSC), Abdullah Yahya, stressed the importance of unifying national ranks, strengthening national unity, and concerted efforts to support and back the armed forces fighting the Battle of Dignity and Pride to end the rebellion of the terrorist militia of Al-Dagalo. This statement came during his meeting with a delegation of the components of the Greater Lagawa in West Kordofan State, led by Professor Al-Sayid Shaib Shinto.

According to Sudan News Agency, TSC Member Yahya pledged to stand with the Lagawa community and support projects that satisfy the needs of the displaced and provide the requirements for voluntary return. He noted the necessity of mending the social fabric, promoting peaceful coexistence, and rejecting hate speech.

For his part, the head of the Lagawa delegation explained, in a press statement, that the meeting addressed the challenges facing the Lagawa community in shelter and asylum centers. He emphasized the search for solutions that
contribute to enhancing peaceful coexistence in the region and mending the social fabric. He pointed out that TSC member Yahya expressed his readiness to provide all necessary services and support development projects in the area to achieve the desired goals.
