The Commission for the Affairs of Prisoners and Ex-Detainees monitored in its report, citing its lawyer, Jacqueline Al-Fararja, during her visit to the “Etzion” investigation center today, Tuesday, the barbaric and arbitrary beatings that the two prisoners, Qusay Kamal and Ahmed Qadimat, were subjected to during their arrest by the occupation forces.
The Commission stated that the prisoner Qusay Kamal (20 years old) from Aqabat Jabr Camp / Jericho, the occupation forces stormed his house in the morning, destroyed its contents, and severely beat him. Kamal had been injured two months ago by a bullet in the abdomen and foot while he was walking with crutches, and as soon as the soldiers learned that he An injured person was deliberately hit on his injured foot and trampled on it. He was then transferred to Ofer Prison to be interrogated and investigated. He had a court appearance last Thursday and his detention was extended for 72 hours in order to transfer his file to administrative detention.
The Commission continued with regard to the prisoner Ahmed Qadaimat (22 years old) from the city of Hebron, who was arrested at the Al-Ju’ba checkpoint in the morning on his way to work, where the occupation forces brutally assaulted him, threw him to the ground and beat him on the head, back and shoulder with rifle butts, causing his injury. He suffered facial injuries, which led to his face being filled with blood, and no treatment was subsequently provided to him. It is noteworthy that the prisoner was not investigated or interrogated, and he has a court date next Wednesday
