SUDAN’S TIES WITH CHINA HAVE BECOME STRATEGIC

KHARTOUM, -- Dr Awad Jazz, the Assistant to the President who is responsible for Sudan-China relations, has confirmed that Sudan's relations with China have become strategic based on joint interests.

Dr Jazz on Monday received the visiting Chinese Minister for Commerce Gao Hucheng and commended the social and service grants and assistance provided by China to Sudan.

He said the two sides had also reviewed the outcome of the recent visits to Sudan by the Chinese Minister for agriculture, as well as the Chinese Minister for Energy.

He said exchanges of visits would continue between officials from the two countries.
