SUDAN’S FOREIGN MINISTER TO ATTEND EUROPE MEDITERRANEAN DIALOGUE IN ROME
KHARTOUM. -- Sudanese Foreign Minister Professor Ibrahim Ghandour will leave here Wednesday evening for the Italian capital, Rome, to attend the European-Mediterranean Dialogue scheduled for Thursday to Saturday.
The spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ghariballa Khidir, said in a statement here Tuesday that the foreign minister will highlight the situation in Sudan, the country's regional efforts for combating terrorism and illegal immigration and the role of Sudan for realization of security and peace at the region in co-operation with its international partners.
He indicated that the Foreign Minister will meet in Rome with his Italian counterpart to discuss implementation of projects and programmes through bilateral co-operation in the economic, political and cultural fields.
