SUDAN’S FIRST VICE-PRESIDENT RECEIVES VISITING SOUTH SUDAN DELEGATION

The First Vice-President and Prime Minister of Sudan, Lieutenant-General Bakri Hassan Salih received at his office at the Council of Ministers here Sunda a visiting delegation from South Sudan led by the Adviser to the President of South Sudan, Tut Gulwal.

Gulwal said in media statement issued later that the meeting touched on matters related to bilateral relations and ways of boosting them further to serve the mutual interests of the peoples of the two countries.

He added that the meeting also discussed the arrangements being made for the opening of the crossing points along the border between the two countries.

Gulwal said he assured the First Vice President Bakri of the readiness of South Sudan to open the crossing points and strengthen trade between the two sides.
