Sudan to Attend Fourth Euro-Arab Meeting


Sudan’s Foreign Minister Ibrahim Ghandour will participate in the fourth Euro-Arab meeting; which will be held at the headquarters of the Arab League in Cairo on 19-20 Dec with the presence of Arab foreign ministers and their counterparts from the European Union.
The Foreign Ministry spokesman ambassador Gareeballah al-Kider, said this meeting is to continue the strategic dialogue which was approved by the third meeting in Athens in June 2014.
The meeting will discuss the exchange of views on security and political issues; as well as exchange the visits between the Arab League and the European Union in order to expand the scope of cooperation in the areas of early warning of disasters, conflicts, humanitarian assistance and the fight against crime and terrorism and to exchange views on the political crises in the region.
He added that in the context of the exchange of roles the Sudan will focus on its contribution on the issue of irregular migration and the situation in Libya.
