Sudan: President Al-Bashir Describes Relations Between Sudan and China As Strategic
Khartoum — President of the Republic, Field Marshal Omer Ail-Bashir, has described the relations between Sudan and China as strategic and deeply-rooted, affirming the keenness of Sudan to consolidate the bilateral relations in the political and economic domains, especially in the agricultural field.
This came when he received at his residence in Kafouri quarter, the visiting Chinese Minister of Agriculture, Han Changfu, by the end of his several-day visit to Sudan, during which he signed a number of agreements on the cooperation between the two countries.
In a press statement after the meeting, the Chinese Minister of Agriculture said that President Al-Bashir has pledged to boost the cooperation between Sudan and China in all domains, especially in the agricultural field.
He said that Sudan and China are enjoying firm friendly relations and historic ties.
He said that his visit to Sudan was aimed for pushing ahead the cooperation between Sudan and China in the agricultural field and discussing horizons of cooperation in various spheres.
The Chinese minister expressed his confidence that the leaderships in the two countries will play a great role in consolidating the cooperation in all fields.
