SUDAN-PAKISTAN MINISTERIAL COMMITEE MEETING SET FOR EARLY 2017

KHARTOUM, -- Sudanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs Under-secretary Ambassador Abdul-Ghani Al-Naeem has held talks here with the Ambassador of Pakistan, Zahid Ali, to discuss progress in relations between the two countries and means of consolidating bilateral co-operation, especially in the investment, trade, food, textile, cultural, educational, health and medicines fields.

During Wednesday's meeting, the Ambassador of Pakistan affirmed his keenness to co-ordinate efforts between officials in the two countries to cement relations, especially in trade and investment.

The Under-secretary expressed his appreciation for the hospitality and constructive co-operation accorded to him during his recent visit to Pakistan. He announced the agreement of the Sudanese and Pakistani sides to hold meetings of their joint ministerial committee early next year in Islamabad.
