Sudan: Haroun – Presidency of the Republic Grants Tribute Certificate to Saudi NADC Company
Al-Obied — The Wali (governor) of the North Kordofan State Ahmed Mohamed Haroun stressed that the Presidency of the Republic has granted a tribute Certificate to the Saudi National Agricultural Development Company (NADC) in honor of its role in social responsibility program.
This came during a meeting with the delegation of NADC headed by its Managing Director Sheikh Abdul Aziz bin Mohamed Al-Babtain, in the presence of the North Kordofan State’s Minister of Agriculture, Livestock and Rural Development and others.
Haroun expressed gratitude to the company for the fulfillment of its pledges, pointing out that a delegation representing the state visited the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia during which it got acquainted with the integrated farming system and the use of modern technologies, stressing that the NADC company is a model of partnership between the private and government sectors led us to take a strategic decision to transfer the experience in it full details and provide all the success factors for building models.
The Minister of Agriculture, Livestock and Rural Development at state said that National Rural Development Company was one of the leading agricultural investment companies, describing the visit as an opportunity to transfer the new experience to the state in preparation for holding the State’s Investment Forum.
For his part, Abdul Aziz bin Mohamed Al-Babtain and the head of the company’s delegation urged to the necessity of forming a joint working group, stressing that there are 50 devices for center pivot irrigation systems, referring to the arrangement for of housing preparation and cultivation of palm, praising the overwhelming response, which strengthens the joint cooperation.
