Khartoum: The General Command of the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) released a statement on Thursday condemning the Rapid Support Force (RSF) militia for setting fire to the Khartoum Refinery in Al-Gaili. The SAF accused the RSF of attempting to destroy the nation’s infrastructure following unsuccessful efforts to seize control of Sudanese resources and land.
According to Sudan News Agency, the SAF’s statement described the RSF’s actions as part of a broader pattern of criminal activity aimed at undermining the country’s stability. The statement highlighted the militia’s deliberate attack on the refinery as evidence of their involvement in unprecedented crimes and violations against Sudanese citizens and property. The SAF emphasized its commitment to pursuing the RSF and liberating Sudanese territories.
The SAF further declared its resolve to rebuild the damage inflicted by the RSF, pledging to restore and reconstruct the infrastructure affected by the militia’s actions. The Sudanese Armed Forces vowed to continue their efforts to protect the country and its people from further harm.
