President Leaves for Morocco Heading Delegation to Summit of the Parties
Khartoum — President of the Republic, Field Marshal Omer Al-Bashir left for Morocco , Monday heading Sudan delegation to Summit of the Parties.
The President’s accompanied delegation comprises Minister of Presidency of the Republic, Fadul Abdalla Fadul, Foreign Minister, Professor Ibrahim Ghandour, Minister of Agriculture, Professor Ibrahim Al-Dekhairi, and Minister of Irrigation and Water resources, Engineer Mutaz Musa.
Minister of Agriculture, Prof. Al-Dekhairi said in press statements at Khartoum Air port, that the 22nd Conference of the Parties(COP22) will discuss the strategy drawn up by African Arab and European countries on climate change in Marrakech last month.
He affirmed that Sudan is keen, through its participation in the summit, to support the agricultural sector which has been affected by fluctuation of climate.
It is to be noted that the first Summit of the Parties was held in December 2015.
