Medani: The Acting Minister of Finance, Economy, and Workforce in Al-Gezira State, Atif Mohammed Ibrahim Abu Shouk, held a meeting on Thursday with Essam-Eddin Mohammed Abdulla, the Director of the Omdurman National Bank branch in Al-Gezira State. They discussed the ongoing arrangements for the resumption of business and banking activities in Medani, set to recommence next Sunday. The discussions also covered the implementation of electronic applications, which the bank has recently introduced for account opening and electronic transfers.

According to Sudan News Agency, the Minister commended the technical advancements achieved by the bank, which have streamlined procedures for its customers. These developments are expected to enhance the overall banking experience and efficiency for clients.

The branch director confirmed the bank’s readiness to facilitate the process of opening accounts for institutions, charitable organizations, and individuals, utilizing the National Identification Number (NIN). This initiative aims to simplify and expedite banking operations for various stakeholders.
