Oleg Pankratov: Development of quality infrastructure is important for Kyrgyzstan
“Development of quality infrastructure in all directions is important for Kyrgyzstan,” Vice Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Oleg Pankratov said today at the Kyrgyz-Japanese forum.
According to him, Kyrgyzstan hopes that the forum will become a stimulus for the development of common ideas and goals. Business, industry and other areas in the Kyrgyz Republic need an effective breeding ground, infrastructure, from which changes in the country begin.
“If there is a high-quality infrastructure in the country, the global markets are open for it. Japan is a world quality leader. Therefore, it is very important for Kyrgyzstan to adopt the experience of colleagues,” Oleg Pankratov said.
It is noted that in the framework of the reforms a lot of attention is paid to improving the country’s investment policy, the formation of a favorable external environment and attracting foreign investment.
Oleg Pankratov drew the attention of Japanese businessmen to the fact that Kyrgyzstan was one of the first who became a full member of the World Trade Organization. In 2015, the country joined the Eurasian Economic Union, received the status of the GSP +, which gives the right to supply about 6,000 product items to the EU without duties.
