Port Sudan: Massive public demonstrations took place in Portsudan on Thursday afternoon, denouncing the violations committed by the terrorist rebel militia against unarmed civilians in Zamzam and Abu Shouk camps and El-Fashir, North Darfur State.
According to Sudan News Agency, protesters raised slogans in support of the armed forces and their supporting forces, while others raised slogans denouncing the interference of the UAE rulers and their continued support for the militia. They also raised slogans rejecting the international silence regarding the siege of El-Fashir and attempts at forced deportation of IDPs.
The march, organized by the National Campaign to Rescue El-Fashir under the slogan “El-Fashir, a Symbol of Resilience,” was addressed by a number of leaderships from eastern Sudan, including Shaiba Dirar, Al-Amin Daoud, and a representative of women, youth, and civil society.
