KUWAIT WANTS TO EXPAND INVESTMENTS IN SUDAN, SAYS ITS AMBASSADOR IN KHARTOUM
KHARTOUM, March 24 (NNN-SUNA) -- Kuwait has expressed its desire to expand its investments in Sudan and to contribute to bridging the food gap and achievement of food security in the Arab world.
Sudan's Minister of Finance and Economic Planning, Bedr-Eddin Mahmoud, pledged during his meeting with Kuwaiti Ambassador to Sudan Telal Mansour Al-Hajiri here Wednesday to remove all obstacles impeding Kuwaiti investments in Sudan.
The Minister also affirmed the government's concern with boosting economic co-operation between Sudan and Kuwait.
The two sides agreed to encourage effective partnerships between businessmen in the two countries in ways which served the common interests of the two countries and provided benefits for countries of the region.
They also affirmed the existence of political will to boost the strengthened ties which linked the two countries.
