Caretaker Minister of Justice, Henry Al-Khoury’s media office clarified in an issued statement today that what was circulated by some media websites about the meeting that took place last Thursday in his office with Caretaker Finance Minister, Youssef Khalil, was inaccurate. “Minister Al-Khoury affirms that the meeting did not last for more than half an hour, and not for three hours as some media websites reported, and the topics discussed are related to financial issues concerning the Ministry of Justice and have absolutely nothing to do with the work of the European delegation or the investigations it is conducting,” the statement indicated. Therefore, it urged all media outlets to stay away from exaggerated news and extensive analyses.
