Kabbashi Declares El-Obeid as Strategic Point for Darfur Liberation, West Kordofan Anticipates Triumphs


El-obeid: Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces and Member of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC), General Shams-Eddin Kabbashi, emphasized the ongoing commitment of the Armed Forces and allied formations in their mission against rebel militias, asserting that operations will persist until the entire nation is reclaimed.



According to Sudan News Agency, Kabbashi made these comments on Thursday in El-Obeid during a meeting with community leaders and professional sectors from North and West Kordofan States. He praised the unwavering national support from Kordofan’s government and citizens, highlighting their complete solidarity with the Armed Forces.



Kabbashi described El-Obeid as a pivotal location in the effort to liberate the country from rebellion, stating that the current conflict is driven by the people’s will and will not cease until the militias are subdued or surrender. He also acknowledged the significant impact of the conflict on West Kordofan State and assured that the state is on the brink of substantial victories.



Additionally, Kabbashi paid tribute to Abdel-Gadir Monem Mansour, Emir of the Humr tribe, who has shown resilience in An-Nuhud despite health challenges, recognizing him as a key national figure.



Major General (Retd.) Mohamed Adam Jaid, Wali (governor) of West Kordofan State, characterized the gathering as historic, reaffirming the participants’ dedication to supporting the Armed Forces and ensuring the liberation of the nation from rebel militias.
