Kabashi Inspects Military Operations and Commends Forces in Wadi Sayidina


Omdurman: Member of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC) and Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, General Shams-Eddin Kabashi, paid a visit to the Wadi Sayidina Military Zone to evaluate the progress of ongoing military operations. His Excellency was welcomed at the Martyr Mukhtar Air Base by TSC Member and Assistant Commander-in-Chief, General Yassir Al-Atta, along with several commanders from military divisions and units.



According to Sudan News Agency, General Kabashi was briefed on the current military operations in the Omdurman hub, assessing the readiness of the units and the high morale of the soldiers. He acknowledged the determination of the military personnel to eliminate the remaining rebel militia pockets in the southern and western regions of Omdurman. In his address, the Deputy Commander-in-Chief congratulated the officers and soldiers for their successes in the Battle of Dignity, emphasizing the importance of defeating the rebellion promptly.



General Kabashi further inspected operations at the General Command, where he was received by Chief of Staff General Mohamed Osman Al-Hussein. During his visit, he extended his condolences to the martyrs of the Presidential Guard and other soldiers who sacrificed their lives for Sudan. He pledged to liberate and protect every inch of the homeland.



During his inspection of the control and operations chamber at the General Command, General Kabashi reviewed the efforts being made to sustain the victories achieved by the Armed Forces and their allies. He also visited the Signal Corps, where he commended the officers and soldiers for their steadfastness and commitment to preserving the state’s sovereignty. Kabashi lauded the military arrangements of the Signal Corps, highlighting their role in overcoming the terrorist militia and providing a clear path to the General Command.
