JUBA TO HOST SUDAN-SOUTH SUDAN JT POLITICAL SECURITY COMMITTEE MEETING

The Sudan-South Sudan Joint Political Security Committee will be held in Juba following the Eid al-Fitr holidays, it was announced here.

South Sudan's Ambassador to Sudan, Mian Dottwol, told the Sudan News Agency (SUNA) here Sunday after calling on President Omer Al-Bashir to offer Eid-ul-Fitr greeting that the meetings would discuss border issues, opening of border crossings and the implementation of agreements previously signed between the two countries.

The ambassador expressed his hopes for Sudan to achieve further progress, stability and development, and expressed his congratulations to the Sudanese people on the occasion of Eid.
