Jeddah: Officials of the Jeddah Chamber of Commerce affirmed their full support for the Republic of Sudan at this critical juncture, announcing their readiness to encourage more than 183,000 companies under the Chamber’s umbrella to invest in Sudan.
According to Sudan News Agency, this announcement was made during the visit of the Consul General of the Republic of Sudan in Jeddah, Ambassador Kamal Ali Osman, to the Chamber’s headquarters. The meeting took place on Wednesday, where Ambassador Osman was received by the Chairman of the Chamber’s Board of Directors, Mohammed Yousef Naghi, along with the two Vice-Chairmen and several members of the Executive Committee and the General Secretariat.
The Saudi representatives welcomed Sudan’s reconstruction efforts, expressing their readiness to support the Consulate General’s initiatives in this field. Ambassador Osman stated that his visit aimed to strengthen bilateral relations and expand economic and trade cooperation between Sudan and Saudi Arabia. He emphasized the importance of advancing strategic partnerships that serve the joint interests of both nations. The discussions focused on enhancing cooperation to benefit the business sector and open up wider investment opportunities, taking advantage of the strong relations between the two countries.
