Intaj to participate in Dublin Tech Summit

Information and Communications Technology Association of Jordan (Intaj), is scheduled to participate in the Dublin Tech Summit (DTS) to be held from May 31 to June 1 in Dublin, Ireland. This participation comes in cooperation with Irish Embassy in Jordan and the Jordan Ireland Business Association (JIBA) , with the participation of a delegation representing 10 companies operating in the sector. In a statement on Monday, Intaj said its participation is a “crucial” platform for Jordanian companies in the Information and communication technologies (ICT) sector, as its presence will provide the opportunity to contact with the leading and innovative international companies in this field. Intaj CEO, Nidal Bitar, said the participation represents an “important” opportunity for Jordanian companies, especially firms specialized in the outsourcing sector, to communicate with their counterparts, discuss strengthen cooperation, and open new horizons for expansion and growth. Meanwhile, JIBA Chairman, Mohammad Tahboub, said Jordanian and Irish companies will hold “important” meetings during the event to enhance trade and investment relations. For her part, Irish Ambassador to Jordan, Marianne Bolger, who hosted the Jordanian delegation participating in the event, said this participation would enhance cooperation between Jordanian and Irish companies, and represents an opportunity to build “strategic” partnerships in the ICT sector and “positively” influence the two countries’ economies.
