Riyadh: On the fringes of the preparatory ministerial meeting for the emergency Arab-Islamic summit, which was held on Sunday, Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr. Ali Yousuf Ahmed Al-Sharif met with the head of the Qatari delegation participating in the ministerial meeting of the summit Sultan bin Saad Al-Muraikhi. The minister expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the Qatari siblings, government, and people, for the assistance provided by the State of Qatar to Sudan in all fields.

According to Sudan News Agency, the two parties discussed ways to enhance bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries in a way that meets the aspirations of the peoples of the two countries, including consolidation of communication mechanisms. Meanwhile, the Qatari official affirmed his country’s full readiness to continue supporting Sudan in all fields, expressing his sincere wishes for Sudan to emerge from this crisis more stable and advanced.
