Foreign Minister Embarks on Diplomatic Mission to Nairobi

Nairobi: Foreign Minister Ambassador Ali Yousef has departed for Nairobi on a two-day visit following an invitation from Kenyan Foreign and Diaspora Affairs Cabinet Secretary, Mr. Wycliffe Musalia Mudavadi. The visit aims to strengthen Sudanese-Kenyan relations and address pressing regional issues.

According to Sudan News Agency, the discussions between the two nations, led by their respective foreign ministers, will focus on enhancing bilateral ties and addressing the ongoing conflict in Sudan. The talks will also cover regional matters and Sudan’s reintegration into the African Union’s activities. This diplomatic engagement is a continuation of efforts initiated last November when Foreign Minister Dr. Ali Yousef met with the Kenyan minister in Angola. During that meeting, both sides committed to normalizing relations and implementing confidence-building measures, while agreeing to halt hostile media campaigns.
