El fasher: The Chairperson of the African Union (AU) Commission, Mahmoud Ali Youssef, has strongly condemned the drone attack carried out on September 19, 2025, which targeted civilians gathered for dawn prayers at a mosque in El Fasher, North Darfur. The attack resulted in the deaths of more than 75 worshippers.

According to Sudan News Agency, Mahmoud Ali Youssef issued a statement condemning the act as a violation of fundamental human values, principles, and international humanitarian law. He expressed his condolences to the families of the victims and the people of Sudan during this difficult time.
