Attorney General Announces 98% of Prosecution Offices Back to Work Nationwide


Khartoum: Attorney General Al-Fatih Mohamed Issa Tayfour has announced that 98% of prosecution offices have resumed work across the country. During the inauguration of Al-Managil Local Prosecution Office on Wednesday, the Attorney General pledged to address all prosecution problems and issues, praising the state government’s efforts in reconstruction, normalizing life, development, and service provision.



According to Sudan News Agency, the Wali (governor) of Gezira State, Al-Tahir Ibrahim Al-Khair, announced his support for the completion of the triangle of justice, the rule of law, and the continuation of uninterrupted service provision. He called on everyone to cooperate, unite, and work as one hand to achieve the desired goals and advance the state.



The Chief Public Prosecutor of Gezira State, Dr. Al-Nazir Hamid, announced that next week will witness the resumption of work at the Al-Masid and Al-Bagair prosecution offices, noting that there are 45 prosecutors in the state providing prosecution services to citizens in the state’s localities.



The Public Prosecution Chief in Al-Managil Locality, Muawia Al-Hajrasi, announced that the prosecution offices and courts in Al-Gurashi and Al-Managil localities have continued to perform their duties regularly, expressing his thanks to the Wali of Al-Gezira State for his support and provision of the necessary equipment for the prosecution offices and courts. He pointed out that Al-Managil Public Prosecution Office was established in 1988, and for the first time, its own building has been constructed.
