Khartoum: President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC) and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, General Abdel-Fattah Al-Burhan, declared in a speech on Tuesday that retribution would be forthcoming for those who attacked Sudan, emphasizing the ultimate triumph of the Sudanese people.
According to Sudan News Agency, Al-Burhan stated, “The armed forces, their supporting forces, and the popular resistance are united to deter aggression. The Sudanese people are a conscious people with deep roots in human history. They are not frightened by such incidents or intimidated by these calamities. Sudanese people are conscious and fighters who have made history and civilizations.”
Al-Burhan highlighted the significance of vital facilities that serve the Sudanese population, asserting that they belong to the people who built them and will work to rebuild them. He noted that any devastation of civilian or military facilities would only fortify the people’s resilience, patience, and unity.
The TSC President further emphasized the unity among the armed forces, supporting forces, and the popular resistance in countering aggression. He reiterated the determination of the Sudanese people, stating, “We will persist to achieve our goals of defeating this militia and those who support and assist it.”
