Hans Energy Completes the Acquisition of 54.44% Equity Shares of BTHL

Striving to Promote Citybus’ New Energy Transportation Business Development and Achieve Business Diversification Aiming to Create Better Returns for Shareholders

HONG KONG SAR – EQS Newswire – 1 August 2024 – Hans Energy Company Limited (“Hans Energy” or the “Company”) and its subsidiaries (the “Group”) (stock code: 554.HK), the leading operator in the energy industry, is pleased to announce that, regarding the acquisition of 54.44% of equity shares of Citybus’ parent company, Bravo Transport Holdings Limited (“BTHL”), all the conditions precedent set out in the acquisition agreement have been fulfilled and the completion took place on 31 July 2024. Following the completion, Hans Energy owns 70% of the equity shares of BTHL, and BTHL becomes an indirect non-wholly owned subsidiary of the Company.

According to the acquisition agreement, the 278,915,965 consideration shares have been allotted and issued by the Company to Templewater Bravo Holdings Limited (“TWB Holdings”) . After completion of the acquisition, TWB Holdings will own 6.59% of the equity shares of Hans Energy. As part of the transaction, Hans Energy will have the right to exercise a call option to further acquire the remaining 30% of BTHL’s shares from TWB Holdings within the next five years. Additionally, Templewater will have the option to sell its shares to Hans Energy between 2029 and 2031. Anglo Chinese Corporate Finance acted as the sole financial adviser of Hans Energy for the transaction.

The occupation issues a decision to seize lands in Iskaka


Salfit – Ma’an – The occupation authorities issued a decision to seize approximately 8 dunams of land from the village of Iskaka, east of Salfit, “for military purposes.”

The head of the Iskaka village council, Osama Zaher, stated that the occupation authorities delivered a military order, ordering the seizure of seven dunams and 9.2 m of citizens’ lands in the ‘Al-Qaniya’ area, north of the village, Basin No. (3), for military purposes, indicating that the area is 150 m away from citizens’ homes.

Zahir pointed out that the objection period, as stated in the decision, is 7 days, and this period is not sufficient, adding that the area is adjacent to the “Nofim Haniya” settlement, which was built on citizens’ lands.

UAE and Egyptian Presidents hold meeting to discuss bilateral relations

EL ALAMEIN: President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan met with His Excellency Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, in New Alamein City as part of a private visit lasting several days.

During their meeting, His Highness and the Egyptian President discussed the strong fraternal relations between their countries across wide-ranging areas of cooperation. They explored ways to enhance these ties at all levels, aiming to serve mutual interests and meet the aspirations of their peoples for further progress and prosperity. Additionally, the two leaders exchanged views on regional and international developments of mutual concern.

His Highness and President El-Sisi reaffirmed their commitment to ongoing consultation on various issues. They commended the strong fraternal ties between the UAE and Egypt, which are evident in their close coordination.

Under directives of UAE President, UAE dispatches aid plane to Philippines in response to Typhoon Carina

ABU DHABI: Following the directives of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and as part of the UAE’s continuous humanitarian efforts to support all countries during times of need, the UAE has dispatched a plane carrying relief aid to the Philippines in response to landslides and floods caused by Typhoon Carina, which resulted in loss of life and severe damage to property.

Reem bint Ebrahim Al Hashimy, Minister of State for International Cooperation, affirmed that these endeavours reflect the UAE leadership’s commitment to provide urgent humanitarian support worldwide. She said, ‘The directives of His Highness the UAE President to dispatch aid to the Philippines demonstrate the dedication of the UAE to the values of solidarity and partnership, as well as its continuous commitment to extending a helping hand to provide humanitarian aid during crises and natural disasters. The aid is part of the UAE’s response to rescue efforts, aiming to enhance international cooperation to address disaste
rs, stand in solidarity with those affected, and provide assistance.’

Al Hashimy added, ‘The people of the UAE stand in solidarity with the people of the Philippines in confronting the repercussions of the typhoon. This reflects the country’s support and appreciation for the Filipino community living in the UAE, who contribute to the development, and growth of the country.’

IRNA: Funeral prayers held for Martyr Ismail Haniyeh in Tehran

The Supreme Leader of Iran’s Islamic Revolution has led a funeral prayer for Political Bureau Chief of the Palestinian Hamas resistance movement, Ismail Haniyeh who was assassinated by the Zionist regime in Tehran.

According to IRNA’s reporter, the ceremony to bid farewell to Martyr Ismail Haniyeh started this morning (Thursday) at the University of Tehran.

Mourners holding portraits of Haniyeh gathered in and around the University of Tehran, where Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei prayers over the coffin of the Hamas chief and one his bodyguards.

The office of the Supreme Leader had announced that the funeral prayer would be held at the university premise before the mourners march toward the Azadi Square.

Tens of thousands of mourners are lined up on the road to pay their last respect and bid farewell to Martyr Haniyeh while a caravan carrying coffins is heading to the Azadi Square

Haniyeh was assassinated in Tehran in the early hours of Wednesday. He was in the Iranian capital to attend the inauguration of
Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian.

The Islamic Republic of Iran has already announced three days of public mourning.

The Supreme Leader in a message following the martyrdom of the head of the political office of Hamas said: “The criminal and terrorist Zionist regime prepared the ground for a harsh punishment for itself with this act, and we consider it our duty to avenge his blood as he was martyred in the territory of the Islamic Republic of Iran”.

Haniyeh will be laid to rest in the Persian Gulf state of Qatar following another funeral prayer there on Friday.
