National News Agency correspondent in Nabatieh reported that the Israeli warplanes broke the sound barrier at approximately 2:16 this afternoon, in two batches, in the airspace of the Nabatieh and Iqlim al-Tuffah regions, circling at low altitude and causing a loud sound.

The occupation forces arrest 40 citizens from the West Bank

Ramallah – Ma’an – The Israeli occupation forces arrested at least (40) citizens from the West Bank during the past two days, including a woman, in addition to children and former prisoners.

The Prisoners Club and the Commission of Prisoners’ Affairs and Freed Prisoners said in a joint statement today, Saturday, that the arrests were distributed across most of the West Bank governorates, accompanied by attacks against detainees and their families, in addition to widespread acts of vandalism and destruction in citizens’ homes.

The statement indicated that the number of arrests since the beginning of the ongoing war of extermination and comprehensive aggression against our people has reached more than 10,000 citizens from the West Bank, including Jerusalem.

He explained that these arrest campaigns constitute the most prominent fixed and systematic policies used by the occupation forces, and that they are also among the most prominent tools of the policy of (collective punishment), which also constitutes a ce
ntral tool for the occupation in targeting citizens, in light of the comprehensive aggression against our people, and the ongoing genocide in Gaza.

The occupation forces stormed various areas in Bethlehem

Bethlehem – Ma’an – Israeli occupation forces stormed various areas in the Bethlehem governorate on Friday evening.

A security source said that the occupation forces stormed the villages of Al-Asakrah, Beit Ta’mar and Harmalah to the east, and fired flares and sound bombs at citizens’ homes.

Two martyrs in the occupation’s bombing of Khan Yunis

Gaza-Ma’an- Two citizens were killed on Saturday evening in an Israeli bombardment of Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip.

Local sources reported that the occupation artillery shelled the vicinity of the Indonesian mosque in the Ma’an area, southeast of Khan Yunis, which led to the martyrdom of two citizens. Their bodies were transferred to Nasser Medical Complex in the city.

The occupation forces have continued their aggression on the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, resulting in the martyrdom of 39,258 citizens, the majority of whom are women and children, and the injury of 90,589 others, while thousands of victims are still under the rubble and on the roads, where ambulance and rescue crews cannot reach them.

The occupation issues new evacuation orders to the residents of southern Khan Yunis

Gaza – Ma’an – The Israeli army issued new evacuation orders on Saturday for the remaining residents of the southern neighborhoods of Khan Yunis in the southern Gaza Strip, in preparation for a military operation.

The Israeli army called on the residents who remained in the southern neighborhoods of Khan Yunis to evacuate immediately and move temporarily to what it described as the “new humanitarian zone in the Al-Mawasi area.”

“In light of the numerous terrorist activities and rocket fire towards the State of Israel from within the western neighborhoods of Khan Yunis, it has become dangerous to be present in that area,” the army said in a statement. “Therefore, at this stage, the area will be adjusted based on accurate intelligence indicating that Hamas has established terrorist infrastructure within the area that has been designated as a humanitarian zone.”

He added that the Israeli army will operate “forcefully” in the area, “and therefore calls on the residents who remained in the southern neighborhood
s of Khan Yunis to evacuate them immediately and move temporarily to the newly created humanitarian zone in the Mawasi area.”

Hamas: Khadija School Massacre Confirms Israel’s Detachment from All Human Values

Gaza – Ma’an – The Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) condemned the massacre committed by the Israeli occupation forces at Khadija School in Deir al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip, which left dozens of martyrs and wounded.

Hamas said the massacre was “a crime that confirms the enemy’s detachment from all human values ??and its defiance of all laws of war.”

She added, “The occupation continues to commit massacres against civilians without any deterrent and with criminal cover provided by the US administration.”

Hamas called on the international community and the United Nations to “break the policy of silence and take steps to force the occupation to stop its crimes.”

The government media office said, “Among the martyrs of the field hospital massacre at Khadija School in the central governorate were 15 children and 8 women.”
